Project Spotlight: Custom Cajun Sampling Truck

Project Spotlight: Custom Cajun Sampling Truck

APEX Specialty Vehicles has partnered with hundreds of national brands and restaurants across the United States. This project spotlight: custom cajun sampling truck that APEX built for Tony Chacheres demonstrated their engineering and design capabilities. The mission of the food truck is "to spread the gospel on Creole and Cajun cookin' and the significant role it plays in the history of the food of the South." This food truck offers
the opportunity to take the Chacheres products on the road, traveling to events, college football games, and festivals and reaching a broader audience with the Chachere’s
product line.

APEX DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SOLUTION
Project Spotlight: Custom Cajun Sampling TruckAPEX Specialty Vehicles partnered with the spicy Tony Chachere’s for a custom food/sampling truck. The new Creole Cruiser features a fully equipped kitchen stocked with Tony Chachere's seasonings and other products that have become a staple in households across the country. The team at APEX started the process with the design and engineering of the project, to ensure the vision was implemented correctly. APEX has an in-house design and engineering team that partners with clients to visually, structurally, and functionally bring their project to life using 3D rendering and design software.

This custom food truck added an element to the exterior - a canopy awning over the serving window. This was engineered into the project and required additional with
strength testing to ensure the awning can withstand the rigors of normal weather elements. Once the design and engineering was completed, the fabrication process began
in APEX’s 50,000 sq. ft. facility located outside of Kansas City, Missouri.
The full branded graphics package was applied and the Creole Cruiser hit the road in fall 2016 to add some spice to the south!
