APEX Specialty Vehicles has partnered with hundreds of national brands and restaurants across the United States to bring their vision to fruition. Recently we completed B’s Kitchen, a Mexican and Italian food truck located in Kansas City, Missouri.
B’s Kitchen is a unique build because it is actually built on a used platform. This used step van has been mechanically checked to ensure the quality of the vehicle will match the outstanding build out. Our in-house paint and graphics team transformed this step van
mint green paint and their custom logos that match B’s Kitchen’s current branding. with vibrant mint green paint and their custom logos that match B’s Kitchen’s current branding.
This new Mexican and Italian cuisine food truck features a fully equipped kitchen that has everything they will need to serve hundreds of customers across the city. The team at APEX started the process with the design and engineering of the project to ensure the vision was implemented correctly. APEX has an in-house engineering team that works with clients to visually, structurally, and functionally bring their project to life using 3D renderings and design software. Before the build ever hits the shop floor, our customers know exactly what they will be receiving.
This custom food truck has an exterior serving window and high-end equipment, allowing them to cook the same food on the road as they would in a brick-and-mortor kitchen. The bright paint and custom graphics will be going down the road this year! B’s Kitchen will soon start serving across the Kansas City area, so keep a look-out for this truck if you are in the neighborhood!
What’s a big difference between specialty builders like APEX and other job shops?
APEX offers stock built truck and trailer options, which can be ready in four weeks! Each stock build is equipped with high-end, ROI-generating equipment. APEX’s in-house design and engineering team develop each stock truck and trailer by taking the most impressive features from previous builds and bringing the visions to life. What are some of the differences?
Easy to Clean Surfaces
Operating a food truck can be… messy! APEX builds out our food trucks with the mess in mind. Our stainless steel countertops are easy to clean and will withstand the rigors of mobile food truck life. Also, our rubber flooring is non-slip and easy to clean after a day on the road. The serving windows, cooking equipment, and storage shelving are easily kept sterile and sanitary throughout your daily operation.
APEX builds your food trucks to meet even the most stringent codes. With extensive experience building food trucks for California and New York, our team will ensure your truck is ready to hit the road with consideration to all factors: mechanical functionality, aesthetics, safety/health compliance, and business codes. Our high-quality builds have received numerous comments from the inspectors on quality and textbook compliance that accompanies the trucks.
We understand the importance of operating a highly functional and profitable food truck. The majority of APEX customers invest in a food truck to replace an additional brick and mortar storefront or are established business owners that plan to incorporate food truck revenue into their business plans. The APEX team listens to your needs and provides the most efficient, highest quality solution.
Understanding that the APEX Custom series is your solution is like beginning from a blank canvas. Our design and engineering team will lead you through the proper channels of understanding your exact needs for your custom truck. We invest over 40 hours of engineering and design time into each of our design builds. Our APEX standard is to provide you with the WOW factor, but also a functional and profitable solution.
